it's been an active opening day at the 2021 pdga national tour finale the music city open i'm grant zellner with your mpo and fpo highlights hot streaks were the theme of the day in mpo action mason ford the clubhouse leader with a ton under par round 11 birdies to just one lone bogey on hole number 18 which played nearly a stroke above par today in second place emerson keith started his day with a bogey then righted the ship to shoot nine under par corey ellis added his own six-hole birdie streak and his t3 that eight down they'll be joined on the lead card tomorrow with tennessee's own chris dickerson also at eight under par in fpo lots of movement up and down the leaderboard all day long and when the dust settled it's a three-way tie at the top at three under par so andy set the early clubhouse lead finishing with a birdie on the difficult 18th hole sarah holcomb's sidearm propelled her to the lead with steady play throughout the day and very steady play from heather young means we'll see lots of purple discs flying during friday's round at cedar hill alexis mandujano is part of a four-way tie in fourth place at one down she'll join the leaders on the lead card our entire pro field returns to cedar hill for one more round tomorrow find all your updates at pdta.com you
