nashville's a lovely town i've lived here for 54 years and i like it a lot i actually lived just north of here in bowling green kentucky for 12 years so i've been playing and been involved with nashville disc golf for quite a long time it's become a cultural center in the country outside of disc golf and so there's tons of stuff to do you can plan a two-week vacation around it and not see everything any given night there's probably 40 different venues you can see live music try new things make epic memories that's what we're all about nashville kind of offers everything that any big city has to offer it's a little wacky but you know we're known for doing wacky things here in nashville the disc golf community is a really great volunteer community the current music city disc golf club is as organized and has as many volunteers as i think any any place around well it's the largest affiliate club in the pdga you can show up at a bag tag and there's 300 players they play all year around they play in the snow they play in the rain there's a huge base of recreational players here and they all come out for all the local tournaments too we also have a very striving community and a big socially driven network the culture here in nashville is definitely one of unity there is a reliable community of players to play with i've been other places where you know they've got golf courses but they don't have uh the community the coordinated effort it's a big community of really involved disc golfers the club recently has just done so much putting in courses we've got you know 10 or 12 league events per week two or three per night in some places there's a ton of courses enveloping the whole entire city for the most part our courses are wooded courses we are known for technical wooded disc golf that is our bread and butter that's that's our claim to fame you have your top three stops that i would i would tell everybody that they need to visit it would be cedar hill park cedar hill which in my opinion is the pinnacle of disc golf in nashville cedar hill is very tightly wooded if you don't get where you want...
