hello everyone and welcome to the final major of the year the 2019 United States disc golf championship getting started out here in Rock Hill with our leader crisp Clemens lefty looking to get his name out there in a big way Clemens would start slow only one down through the first eight holes but would finish scorching-hot going 7-under through the final 10 holes including five straight between holes 12 and 16 I think that the like holes you know one through seven they're pretty tough like you can you can find trouble pretty easily but for me I feel like the more open style with the ropes the par fours they set up well for me and so I feel comfortable on those holes like 9 through 15 or whatever and so I just started feeling it made some circle 1 putts and just was throwing the disc really well Chris would come in on one of the early cards sitting as the leader in the clubhouse and be able to watch as none of the other competitors would be able to match his 8 under with a lead card appearance ahead of them Chris is just happy to be playing the last three or four days I've kind of been anxious to get started you know and so now actually playing around like I feel a lot more calm and so I hope to carry that into tomorrow weather where I stand on the lead card or whatever I just have to play my game and not worry about anybody else a brilliant performance by Chris all around either first or second and fairway hits circle 2 in regulation and c1x putting that is a clean day at the job Simon Lizotte on the chase though getting started with his round here on pole 5 one of the most fun shots on the course the water carry on the par 5 after cashing in the birdie putt there Simon would take the road less traveled the spike hyzer on the beach hole works out beautifully takes the two their moves on to his only mistake of the day here on hole 8 misses the outside the circle putt ooh unfortunate roll not able to land the putt between the mozzarella sticks hole 9 though bounces back with a fantastic birdie jumping now to hole 16 where Simon...
