hello everyone and welcome to ground one coverage here at the 2019 PGA pro World Championships getting it started here with our reigning world champ Paige bierko's came into this weekend with a plan playing very safe off the tee that would limit her scoring opportunities but also limit the damage on this dangerous northwood track here she has on hole nine though putting the putter to work dialing in the turnover and that'll be a deuce hole 11 the shortened FBO tee pad 260 feet away no problem for the deuce bierko's would finish with a clean even par putting her right in the middle of the pack if it were not for this woman Evelina Salonen she would be smiles all day today and that is because she took it to this North Woods blue layout she would bury three out of the first four holes and wouldn't stop from there she finishes 7-under par 1025 rated and you could just see the raw power on these drives she was clean until full 18 and guess what she stayed that way as she absolutely humiliates this up shot in route to the drop in birdie Evelina leads the pack by six and looks forward to a more open Sunset Hills I like that course it's more open and there I can throw far and here I like it next up in the race for a world title one of the early contenders here Katrina Allen has been battling for double use all year and hole one she was here to play she would get off to a pretty hot start but missing short putts here on hole for and and and unfortunately on hole 5 she would right the ship by hole 7 though knocking into the nice birdie putt there and on hole 8 was an opportunity to show off why she has the best roller game in the FP o division perfectly placed in route for the routine up shot on the par-4 603 flat hole jumping now to hole 14 she would throw this beautiful turn over unfortunate kick but who cares about the funky lie she knocks it in anyways hole 17 would be her demise though she gets off the tee into the bushes and it wasn't any better from there unfortunately takes two double bogey would stop all momentum and slide her...
