the best disc golfers in the world have emerged in their winter hibernation and flocked to the desert as Las Vegas challenge is set to kick off the 2019 pdj national tour though winter hasn't quite relinquished its chill the action here is about to heat up and after an offseason of upheaval the excitement level is about as high as the stratosphere just down the street the excitement level this year is incredible I'm ready to get the season started I know there's a lot of fans out there ready to see all the big changes that have happened in the disc magnet back sure world you know player sponsorships and think like things like that so I'm excited as a player and as a fan of the sport I'm absolutely pumped to play this tournament this is my first tournament of the year I kind of took a longer break then I'm I could say that I'm used to but now I'm super pumped I'm excited and ready to go I'm really really excited to just try all my new discs in tournament play you know there's always you can only do so much in practice to try to understand how you're just are gonna fly when it comes to that adrenaline and tournament pressure and all the things that you can't really reproduce in practice so I'm really excited to just learn a lot these first couple of tournaments with a new season comes new opportunity and with that a host of new players hitting the road to prove they can keep up with the competition I played amateur for a while and of course watched YouTube of ricky paul and everybody getting to be real good and everyone loves watching them i do too but i wanted to compete with them and play the same courses that they're playing that i was watching on youtube so i've decided to get out here the last couple of years and play and really see what i can do i think that people are gonna be surprised with haley King and I show up and destroy the competition youthful exuberance can get you far but there are two pedigreed winners looking to defend their titles 1 for the third time in a row it would be really cool to make it three in a row but it's not something...
