every course has a signature hole one that can inspire awe just as easily as it can induce heartbreak here at the Emporia Country Club that's hole 16 clocking in at 383 feet this iconic Island has serious turning-point potential whether it's at the World Championships or here at the dynamic disc glass blown open and nobody knows that better than defending champion eagle McMann I was last on the the keypad which was a gift from the disc golf gods had a great left-to-right win which meant that if I threw a high hyzer shot the left-to-right winds gonna push the Heiser straight so it was a perfect opportunity to throw a pd-2 onto the island and get two strokes on both of them to get the lead with two holes to play and yeah it was it was really exciting and though I had my adrenaline levels very high at that time with an extra day on the schedule that means one more crack at the island and for the women's division it's actually four more as the FPO field plays here at the Country Club every day this week 200 something foot hole I'm not thinking I'm ever gonna get outside the circle and that's really what this island is but it adds a whole nother element and especially late in the game you know hole 16 coming down the stretch so it's it's quite intimidating I would say I will be laying this one up actually I believe so if it's if there's no wind or and or I'm down and I need some strokes I might be going for it that's the real question this week play it safe or go on the attack hole 16 laying up every time I'm laying up I'll take four pars in this hole and I'll be running it every time unless there's a headwind no matter what decision players make you'll be able to see it all go down live to speak on smashbox TV and with five cards of post-production instant scoring from you discs and recaps here at p DJ media we'll have everything you need from the second stop on the PDG a national tour stay tuned
