a staple on the PDG a national tour since 2009 the beaver state fling is one of the most beloved events on the circuit due to its fierce competition and this Milan McIver State Park with two courses meandering alongside the Clackamas River this idyllic icon just outside of Portland is the jewel of the Pacific Northwest this is one of those courses that you come to and you're just like I'm in heaven you know it's got a good size difference in holes good variety of holes long bombs good finesse technical shots in the woods it's also a term I've been playing for eleven years just the property itself you drive down into this big bowl that's right next to the river and you feel secluded from the rest of the world this is the first venue that I ever played professionally in 2004 I think this is my 15th Professional Weber State Fling maybe this year something like that right after that it's just the natural beauty of it I mean being in the Pacific Northwest seeing that these trees are way bigger than any other trees you see is just that's just something about it being so green you can just really find a sense of peace out here milos allure has even called all the way across the country bringing regional pros like Andrew fish here to find out what the buzz is all about oh man so I've been hearing a lot about Beaver State playing and Milo courses for years basically since I started playing you know it's got a great reputation shows up wonderful on film yeah it's it's wonderful coming from Florida had a lot of just flat elevation here there's a ton of elevation up down sideways whatever you need all the greens absolutely beautiful it isn't just for the competitors the beaver State Fling annually draws one of the largest galleries on tour a testament to Portland's thriving disc golf see our disc golf club and our amazing staff here and volunteers at the beer State Fling it's just the draws many spectators not even locally in Portland but of the Greater Portland metro and even multiple states away but if you can't be here in person we've got the next best thing with instant scoring all weekend long from you to slide and three cards of post-produced coverage...
