hello everybody and welcome to round one MP Oh action getting us started eagle McMahon your returning champion throwing the huge Kaiser here on hole one and would come out firing with big putts on three and again here on board first sign of trouble would be on the newly redesigned hold nine kicking left out of bounds he would have to settle with the bogey but would make up for it with four consecutive deuces maybe most impressively here on the long hold eleven he converts from outside the circle in a repeat of last year's final moments he throws the huge Heiser on 16 but unfortunately can't quite stick it would be settled with another bogey for with a chance to slide into the lead card he would find himself out of bounds and not able to card that par here's Joel Freeman your leader after one this week I've definitely been trying to prioritize just enjoying myself having a positive impact on other people and what do you know I play better that way Joel was serious today first and c1 in regulation third in situ in regulation yeah I definitely how to combine that good hammer inside the circle and that's really aggressive people say my puttings been feeling kind of funky little kind of figuring things out with the mechanics the release point whatnot so it felt really good to to start relaxing and just feeling more confident today had a handful of testers kind of in that 25 40 foot range and made probably I don't know five or six out of out of seven so yeah so felt good about this Johnny MacRay came to Emporia country-club determined to prove that age is just a number he would consistently outdrive his card with the likes of eagle mcmahon and paul macbeth he would card the birdie on one and again here on to he would be hot off the start maybe most impressive though is after finding early trouble on the extended hole 7 he would let it loose a huge second shot in what normally might be an eagle opportunity he has a chance at 3 any steps it in another here on 13 he had a confident stroke all day yeah not bad I stayed solid stayed to the game plan it was a arguing with the wife or whether I...
