what is up everybody and welcome to another episode of down the fairway in this episode of down the fairway i'm gonna take you through my mind and what i do after a bad tournament round i just played round one of the green mountain championship i only shot a one under par which is well off the pace of what i actually wanted now there's all kinds of ways about how people cope with a bad route some people just say ah it was a fluke i'll do better tomorrow some people go have a drink with a buddy you know maybe a soda pop or a beer or something like that just to kind of forget and those all can work in certain circumstances but for me personally i'm gonna take you through my mind of what's going on i know of certain shots that i didn't commit to during the round and i'm wondering why so i came here to the field right after it was literally 15 minutes ago so i can figure out exactly what was going on and so that i'm more confident going into the round tomorrow so when i look back at my round i definitely noticed that i didn't commit a lot on my anhyzer sidearms and my straight backhand shots kind of struggled so with me knowing those things i'm gonna come here and i'm going to work on exactly those things and the way i'm going to do that is i'm going to use my bushnell rangefinder and i'm actually going to shoot at 270 feet so i'll use that rangefinder to get that exact distance then i'm going to do the same thing for 200 feet and after i do that then i'm going to practice those anhyzer sidearms and those flex shots so that i can make sure that i get those dialed in for tomorrow now the one thing you want to make sure and do is don't overwork yourself as soon as you have a breakthrough quit and move on to the next thing so that you don't overdo it i've seen a lot of people just go to the field and then grind it out for hours and hours after a tournament and then they're just gas for the next round so i'm gonna be as efficient as possible during this sequence of practice...
