what's up everybody and welcome to another episode of down the fairway in today's episode of down the fairway i'm going to be giving you my number one tip for having touch inside 200 feet now one of the biggest mistakes i see people make is throwing a shot inside 200 feet to 150 feet and when it lands it has a lot of energy after the landing which then creates roll-away possibilities sliding to 20-30 feet or having to play the ground play short and hoping that it will slide up to the basket instead of just landing it where you want to land it now the reason people do this is because they don't have touch coming in they have a straight wrist and put a lot of spin on their disc which is great for driving or even some mid-range shots but when approaching a green you need to have touch going into the green and you need to be able to land that disc exactly where you want i know that sounds tough now but hopefully after this quick little tip you'll become better at that and start shaving those strokes off nobody likes going into a hole and having to play a slide up to the hole or even not getting the distance right landing right next to the hole rolling away or sliding to 25 feet those testers in a round add up and then eventually it'll get you for an extra stroke so my number one tip is very simple when throwing these approach shots keep your wrist above your elbow and what this'll do is it'll force you to get the nose up on the putter or the driver or even the mid-range that you're throwing for this technical shot even when throwing an anhyzer if you keep the wrist above your elbow at all times you'll get that nose up which will then look like this now keeping the wrist above your elbow will allow you to get the nose up on the disc which is crucial when going into very fast greens or even wide open greens that you want to have touch kind of coming in what i've learned with getting this wrist above is that i have a softer shot coming in it's allowed me to have more accuracy when throwing with a straight wrist and not getting...
