what's up everybody and welcome to yet another episode of down the fairway in today's episode I'm gonna be giving you 3 of my best tips to properly use a tea tent people are always so fixated on the basket and the fairway that a lot of times they overlook the importance of their run-up and the tee pad and properly using that tee pad to your advantage a common mistake I see a lot of people make is a one run-up routine which means they only run up one way for every single shot for example when throwing a turnover I see people use the very middle of the tee pad they go straight forward and then they throw their Anheuser and then a lot of times they're missing by a half inch maybe a foot but they're missing their shot completely being a right handed backhand player the hole behind me is gonna require me to throw a slight turnover that has a slow fade in order for it to land in the middle of the fairway when throwing most of my shots I'm trying to make the fairway as big as possible now that starts with the tee pad I'm trying to line up on the left hand side to give myself the best angle possible and to make that fairway as big as possible and what I mean by that is I'm throwing a flippy ur disc on that left side of the tee pad and I'm trying to get it to fade into the fairway and make that gap as big as possible you got to think a foot on the tee pad in the duration of a flight is actually going to equal a big amount of distance out in the fairway another thing I like to do before I play a new tee pad is I like to take a couple practice run ups to make sure that that tee pad isn't very slippery you have to have the proper grip in order to have the confidence to throw a really good shot my third and final tip for today is make sure you give yourself a lot of extra room at the end of the tee pad this is a common mistake I see amateurs and pros make all the time to where they don't give themselves the proper length at the...
