what up everybody and welcome to my first ever episode of down the fairway in today's episode of down the fairway I'm gonna be giving you a tip of how to have better production in your field work one of the biggest problems I see with amateurs and professional golfers is I'm having a problem with hitting initial gaps with power I have a theory that the most important part of your entire release is the first 50 feet of your shot a lot of courses purposely put a couple trees right off the tee that I call bogey trees now if you hit those trees and you don't have a smooth release you don't gain that 50 feet right off the tee pad you're gonna probably take a bogey what I'm gonna ask you to do is get to the field and find two poles two trees or in this case today what I found is I'm actually in a football field and I found the goalpost and I'm gonna walk catty-corner to the goal post so that I create a really really narrow gap now the distance that I want you to put this gap at is about 40 to 50 feet in front of you what we're looking for is a precise angle and speed so that you can find that release point that navigates those really tight and narrow fairways a high percentage of the time for my example that I'm gonna give you today I'm gonna throw my very overstable Signature Series Raptor it's obviously gonna go left once I hit the gap but then right after I'm gonna throw it on the same angle I'm gonna throw this heat on the same angle as I threw the Raptor and it's gonna do something completely different the Raptor I want to go left this one I want it to flip up and go straight I threw those on the same angle with the same speed two completely different shot shapes but the one thing they all had in common I hit my gap now that you've found a way to hit that gap let's say eight to nine times out of ten you've found your release point and then it's about finding the disks that work better for you now when I go to any course in the world and I have those two bogie...
