what is up everybody and welcome to another episode of down the Fairway in this episode of down the Fairway I'm going to be going into something I haven't really talked about before in this series and that is release point and how to identify your release point in your putt in your sidearm and in your back hand I'm going to start off with the putting stroke so all these are going to have one thing in common and I'll get into that in a second in your putting I go into great detail on how you need to release at the very end with a spin putt to identify where your release point is if you haven't seen those go back in some of my down the Fairway series and you'll be able to find that of course we need to wait till the end with a spin putt but what about a push putt how do we identify where we're releasing from and I think I found an e easy way to do that and that is if you've putt it a lot for beginners you're going to have to putt a lot to identify this for sure but for me who've been playing for a very long time with the same stroke for a very long time I can identify where the putt is coming out of my hand and what spots it's actually touching at the very end there's always going to be a little drag out of your hand with a butt and the way that I identify that is with your calluses so for me I have a callus right here I also have a callus on this finger middle finger right in the middle that makes sense to me because as I place the putter in my hand it sits right here in the fat part of my hand it also sits in the fat part and then right here on this little fat part of my middle finger and there's a callus that is from here all the way up to that middle finger so now I know at the end when I putt that has to be a drag point that has to be a spot that I identify as the putters coming out of the hand why that is important to know is now I can make sure that...
