what's up everyone today john and i are going to college lynchburg college so we are going to come out to this one hole course great course great nine-hole course and it's got some soccer fields which we'll be playing across so if you want to just get some field work in this is the place to go so as i mentioned this is really a good property to hit up on your lunch break if you need to get a quick round in or do some field work the fairways are beginner friendly but still offer a variety of shots to challenge you in and out of the woods the first couple holes are pretty short which is nice because the average person isn't going to take the extra time to warm up before they're round so these serve that purpose it's also good to give opportunities to throw putters and mids off the tee depending on your level of play and maybe an ace run or two but we really appreciate having a friendly nine-hole course in the area for when we're introducing people to the sport the next hole is definitely longer but you can still practice positioning by laying up to the mouth or like i choose to attack the green it's good to be able to throw these different shots to build familiarity and comfort with your bag the good news here is when you get off the fairway especially in the fall the rough is friendly so you shouldn't lose any disc and sometimes you might still have a look look at the basket it's really nice you can throw these longer controlled shots that don't focus so much on touch the course in our areas are all almost wooded so seeing wider fairways like this is great for practice because you still need to be accurate but your disc has more room for movement on the fairway or if you give yourself a shorter position you can practice your approach shots another aspect to practice is learning to read greens and elevation as you can see from john's shot it was a little high so it carried too far left and off the fairway he took the opportunity to practice a forehand roller or two but the rough isn't so bad another important feature is how easy it is to navigate your way...
