growing up playing baseball basketball football my dad really wanted me to go down that path and and pursue his dream of maybe being a professional baseball player I had a different mindset I really wanted to play disc golf I wanted to be a touring player I wanted to pick up sponsors I wanted to eventually be a world champion so being homeschooled allowed me the time to play disc golf practice a lot more than that most of my friends and local club members I think that going to high school really if there's a lot of wasted time whereas when you're homeschooled you take the classes you want so first going on tour I was 17 my main goal was to prove my dad wrong this is just all hugs and hand pounds man it's mr. Wysocki their fans play a big part they boost my confidence and it's really cool to see people's support and I really thrive off that so I'm thankful and grateful to have people that that helped me be confident on the course a foundational habit that I realized from the beginning was muscle memory muscle memory is key to my success I used to go to the course practice for four or five hours a day and I still do that I'll go and throw three or four drives three or four putts and three or four up shots on every hole one thing that's changed dramatically is my mindset I think that I've seen a lot of the different situations on tour I've learned from my my maybe rookie mistakes so to say and I've built myself mentally and physically to get to a point like the World Championships where I really feel like I have a chance to win every time I spent at least 45 minutes a day dial into my putts from all different distances anywhere from 10 feet to 100 feet the most stable part of my game is forehand approach I think throughout my career that that's been the shot I can count on no matter what one thing I'm still perfecting is timing of my run-up as a top player we got to be able to throw all different speeds and all different shots the timing of the run-up affects that greatly and I'm still perfecting that and I'll always be always a work...
