GBO 2017 | Final Round, Front 9 | Sexton, McBeth, McCray, Newhouse
Join Joe M Productions for coverage of the 2017 Glass Blow Open at Jones East Park, a challenging and fun course that combines well-designed holes with obstacles like sidewalks and roadways. The crew discusses their favorite aspect of the course - Ho-One, a forehand-friendly hole with a unique obstacle: a low ceiling that can trap backhand turns. They also analyze the strategies employed by players like Paul McBeth, Johnny McCrae, Sexton, and Newhouse as they navigate this tricky hole. Joe shares his thoughts on the importance of having a reliable 350-degree sidearm shot to tackle challenging holes like Ho-One. With its unique layout and demanding shots, Jones East Park is one of the most exciting courses in professional disc golf, and Joe's commentary provides valuable insights for both beginners and experienced players looking to improve their game.
Watch Paul McBeth & Ricky Wysocki crush the front 9 as they battle for top spot at GBO 2017 Gateway Disc Golf Championships.

hey everybody and welcome to round two coverage from Joe M Productions we at the glass blown open Jones East Park big sexy commentary coming at you Jones East one of my favorite Park courses that we play I just think it's a lot of fun you do have the sidewalks you got you know some of the road comes in play and a lot of people are walking around but just in general I feel like this place is always so much fun to play what do you think about Ho One ho one's a great starting hole um really forehand friendly backhand Lefty friendly um but you can't throw it too far because you have that Hillside behind the basket um you had this Manda that was put in place here a couple years ago and force everyone to play left side instead of throwing the Hiser out over the road tough shot really I mean a backhand turnover can't really reach the pin the ceiling is way too low for the backhand turnover you see a lot of people go for that shot but it ends up hitting trees or cut rolls left Paul just a little inside of the line he wanted there he's going to get stuck behind the barn a little bit yeah some of the players who would normally opt for the backand turnover would would probably end up going with a roller M um just to avoid the low ceiling and have something that will at least get most of the way down there um this is a really tricky hole if you don't have a 350t sidearm yeah I'm going with an xcal here pretty standard shot for you there and he needs a check up that's nice little putt you're going to have the the anti-de putt you have you coming back up the hill which yeah the life putt yeah there you go that's a nice way to look at that and yeah nice way to avoid having any sort of a dangerous put in the first hole only thing you have to worry about is maybe hitting the cage and rolling back yeah we got one of the old stall warts of the game here Johnny McCrae man he's been at it a while yeah he's and he get some gaps that roller oh my goodness that was...
