hello and welcome to the back nine of the first round feature card coverage of the 2021 texas state disc golf championships we are here at the first national tour since october 2019. we are here in tyler texas at lindsay park playing the dogwood course and ricky and paul are leading our feature coverage right now at four under two shots back of the current leader at casey white and chris dickerson at five under and a slew of players there at four under but these are pretty decent scores on this course which is incredibly technical and we're going to get right into it with the hole 10 par 4 681 foot hole players are most likely going to go down this left gap but there are two routes you want to get your drive about here at the top of the hill which sets up a second shot ranging anywhere between 300 and 340 down this tunnel and eventually the basket breaks off just barely to the right at the very end again i feel like to get out of this gap completely is just an absolute rip you really just want to stay in the fairway and give yourself some sort of option and ricky is going that left side gap but too much angle did not keep that one flat enough if you do throw the sidearm on that left side so important to get that disc perfectly flat anything that skips right is going to take a a shot with good distance into a bad spot because there's really no second shot off to the right saw a few people going roller as well it's an option and there's also that right side turnover back sidearm route get past it oh gosh that was past the initial ones it looked so good and now he's just in no man's land like pitch out and then hopefully get a par you go going that turnover and this looks really really good but no it doesn't kick yes it did and it's at the edge he might be able to poke a forehand through there it's so hard to throw a fast disc and have it end up in the middle of the fairway that's why i feel like i kind of do like the mid-range play that bradley's about to do right here because if...
