hello everyone and welcome to the third and final round of the 2021 disc craft great lakes open here in milford michigan jeremy calling joined by paul uliberry big berry commentary let's get right into that grip 6 low profile eagle mcmahon 17 under par so far 50 birdie yeah that's insane really these are there's so many hard holes to birdie out here kevin jones doing some other things on the course the 100 scramble rate that's nice honestly really tough course like this and 53 outside the circle that'll keep you in the mix 81 fairway hits for kyle klein also a nice statistic to look at and adam hames is right behind him in that fairway hit category at 78 percent sitting at 16 under bar hey my name's james cannon and i founded this craft in 1979. i grew up in westland michigan which is only about 20 miles from this toboggan cars started throwing flying discs around we called them frisbees in those days when i was a young man about eight years old and so i've been playing with this a long time when we first started the company we first disc we built was just like a general purpose disc throw and catch then we built a freestyle disc then we built an ultimate disc and then we started getting into disc golf in the mid 80s we were literally going to tournaments and just selling them out of the back of our trunk you know we went down to huntsville for the 83 worlds and introduced the first urethane disc which is what pretty much all discs are made out of today they're like the unbreakable discs we're like number one in ultimate pretty much anybody's playing ultimate in the world is playing with our products and disc golf we're number two and we're just trying to find it to number one always looking for places to put disc golf courses in those days i lived only about three miles from the park that we're in now back in the 80s and so i was always coming over scouting places to put a disc golf course trying to talk to the people in charge of the park to see if they were interested in disc golf but in those days it was a little bit of a hard sell because it was...
