Hey everyone, welcome to the 2017 Utah Open. Today we got Big Julie commentary. Myself, Jeremy Coing, joined by Paul Ulibberry. We're going to do the front nine first round at the beautiful Mulligan's course in Ogden, Utah. Hole one. Paul, what do you think about it? Uh yeah, let's get right into it. Hole one um actually is one of the better starting holes that we have on the tour in my opinion. Totally agree with that. Yeah, 711 ft par4 uh OB on the right the whole entire way and then kind of a bailout area to the left where you're going to leave yourself about a 250 300t up shot. Yeah, you kind of get to grip and rip into this hole. It's nice way to start. I like I like courses where you can really lay into the first shot. And like you said, there's the water on the right and Lewis is kind of challenging that, but can't I think he maybe got onto the sidehill there and doesn't look like he's out of bounds. Yeah, we're going to have to see. That was really close. But you mentioned the the left bailout area. If you do go too far left, you will have some trees to contend with as well. Um the drive here being that it is a grip and rip hole actually really does benefit the longer thrower because the green is so precarious with the um the bunker right in front and the down slope behind. Yeah, mulligans really gets you into the groove and and shows you what the course design is like even on this first hole with the the green is going to have a a big drop off at uh right after a couple guardian bunkers. Yeah. Um, and it just shows you almost every green has OB around it or or a challenging aspect in that regard. And you get to see Drew Gibson use his power there with a really long T- shot. Put himself in a really good position. Here we get to uh see my touring partner um from Charlotte, North Carolina, 18-year-old Austin Turner. As you can see, he is a backwards righty. And he is going to throw his big Z4 nice and low, but a good carry. The thing's got some nice glide to it. He's as far out as...
