2017 GMC | Round 1, Back 9 | McBeth, Turner, Barsby, Brinster

Join Austin Turner, Steve Brinster, and Jeremy as they provide play-by-play commentary for Day One of the 2017 Green Mountain Championship presented by Disk Craft. The feature card features Paul Macbeth, Greg Barsby, and Austin Turner, with Paul taking an early lead through the front nine at 7-under par. Greg Barsby is close behind at 6-under, while Steve Brinster struggles in the putting green but recovers with a few clutch putts to reach 2-under. As the players head into the back nine, the commentators discuss the challenges of hole 10, a 410-foot downhill shot that requires precision and control. Greg Barsby attempts to navigate this tough hole with a fairway driver, while Paul Macbeth employs his signature "pro rock three" technique. The commentators break down each shot, analyzing the angles, trajectories, and techniques used by the players. With Austin Turner's birdie on the 12th hole, the tension builds as the competitors strive to stay in contention for the championship title.

Watch McBeth, Turner, Barsby & Brinster clash in an epic showdown on Round 1's back nine at the 2017 GMC Disc Golf Pro Tour.

hello and welcome to day one coverage from the 2017 Green Mountain Championship presented by disk craft we've got a feature card today featuring Paul Macbeth Steve brinster Greg bars be an Austin Turner big sexy commentary here with you myself Nate Sexton and Jeremy : and we see Paul Macbeth coming off to a blistering start 7-under through the front nine Greg's right behind him at six Austin's at 4-under and Steve who had some difficulties in the putting green kept coming up short several times made a couple really good putts he's at 2-under and we're heading to a very difficult back nine yeah hole 10 is 410 feet but it is considerably downhill you really just need to throw a laser straight shot that's the only way to park this basket if you have a lot of fade either way you're not gonna be successful and 410 feets kind of far to throw a fairway driver forehand but I think that's what Greg is trying to do here with a leave that's an eagle the the downhill nature of this hole will allow a fairway driver as long as you get the right angle off the tee yeah Paul's gonna go make pro Rock three this is looking pretty nice probably gonna have just a hint of fade at the end and this was a wow that's deep and that's a common too you know once you get that disc up in the air it's so hard on this slope to get it down it really takes a perfect shot there's a couple trees down there that you can kind of maybe intentionally ricochet off of and kind of slow your disc down but two beautiful shots here we're seeing in a row from Paul and Steve this is fading a little much but yeah 45 50 but obstructed it's gonna be really tough a very difficult putt from there but I mean it's it's so difficult like once you hit this gap and you get the right height how do you slow it down yeah you did be lower yeah is it's not gonna stay quite straight enough I think and that's a crystal buzz there from Austin and he's gonna be in the circle yeah just inside the circle he's gonna maybe have that one tree in the way he might have an open look...
