What's What's today and what time is it? Uh Tuesday evening. Um going to to Eagle's Crossing. Uh it's about a little after 9. Rolling in from from Nashville where I was the the prior week for the uh last Disc Golf Pro Tour stop. It's been a few years. The last time I I came was uh the fall of 2022 for the the big money skins. So, it's been I guess 2 and 1/2 2 and 1 half 3 years since I've I've been back. Oh my god. Our He gets the turn. Got to see the gap. Got to see the speed. Wow. baby go. Yeah. So, tell us about your history that you have with this place. Well, I I think most notably is I won $50,000 here. The richest putt in disc golf history about to be thrown by 9. Let's call it 19 ft. I know. Maybe 20 22 in disc golf history. was just locked down. Calvin Heimber $50,000 richer. Unbelievable, man. This is a moment for disc golf right here. This is history in the making. I don't know that it like immediately sank in. Um, but it was definitely a huge relief. a great feeling, you know, knowing you you won 50 grand and uh probably probably going to be a tough feeling to match, but uh it is honestly probably something you still been searching for since then. When it comes down to somebody taking home $50,000, you got to be cold. And Calvin is the Iceman under pressure. He's calculated. He's like a surgeon. And that shot he threw to win 50k. It's almost unre repeatable in the moment like that with no back swing up against the tree. Sidehill lie island green like repeating it is it seems insane to even think about. Just making the choice to throw that shot is a little bit insane. And then once those air molecules starting out, your first time that you drive in, it's it's hard to like really wrap your head around what this place is and how big it is. is 400 acres almost exclusively dedicated to disc golf.
