we're here with Gavin Babcock now hot round in the clubhouse how do you feel about your round how do you feel it went uh probably couldn't have asked for much better there's like two shots that I kind of wanted back but I missed two holes one and six which you can very easily do with them both being islands and then two Eagles the rest birdies no parse so I mean I just wasn't missing putts and my throwing was some of the best it's been all year we weren't sure if anybody was going to break into the 70s 74s absolutely scorching hot at what point did you feel like this was you know something special uh after the front I started on the back nine and just birdied everything with the two Eagles and I was I had 46 points after the back nine and I was trying to do some quick math I was like I think I could hit 70 and I I was trying to figure out what would be a good score and people were saying 36 to qualified 50 something might take it or be up there and so the goal was to try to hit 60 today and just stayed focused and I think it helped not having scores to like look at or anything it just could play aggressive golf yeah so we've got the footage of your play on hole 10 walk us through it uh and how you ended up with the two there yeah I mean to start on 10 um just a little warm up a cold morning uh I as best Drive I'd had all week in practice and everything and flipped up nice falcore landed probably right around 30 33 just inside and had the tree my way just like a little baby like right to left headwind Putt and straddled out and canned it and after that I knew it was gonna be a pretty solid day nine points right off the bat worth two birdies in a par had to feel good in the bank all right well moving forward your placement secured almost assuredly now uh you can take a deep breath and look forward to the weekend yes sir thank you for being with us yeah
