Welcome everyone to the 2026 Tatanaki Disc Golf Open part of the tour down under brought to you by Gothro and MVP disc sports. I'm Sarah Hok [music] here with Taylor Jose to call the action. We're out at [music] Englewood Golf Club. Beautiful piece of property in the shadow of the [music] great Mount Tanaki. New Zealand is really beautiful place. Tay, is this your first time here? >> This is my second time. Yeah, I came last year and had to make [music] the trip back. It's just too incredible to miss it. >> So, we got Taylor. Shot a great round yesterday in some howling wind. Got under par and got a lot of birdies out there yesterday. Mhm. Was tough scoring conditions. Next up is Jennifer Smiley. She is from Virginia and has been playing for [music] MVP a couple years now. And her strength is in her consistency and she's been working a lot on her her game this off season. Next up, we have Soph Sophia Donaki [music] from Canada playing for Inova. She ended up at one over par yesterday. [music] Got a couple birdies in there, one birdie at least, and she [music] was playing pretty good. Um, just had struggles to score in that win. Next up, we have Cat Merch from Rosebed, Arkansas. Definitely a fan favorite on the tour and she was able to keep it clean with a two over par yesterday. Even got an ace. >> Oh yeah. >> Hopefully you saw that on the coverage yesterday. Starting off with hole one. This is a [music] par five. 738 ft. Obie got on the left side and the right side, but the left side comes up pretty [music] quick. Players want to keep this one in bounds off the te and throw a second shot. It's going to set up a short approach to this green that's situated right next to a tree and OB on the right side and the deep side is only about 20 feet.
