Welcome into Goat Throw [music] Coverage. This is round one back nine of the 2026 Discraft Australasian Open presented by OTB Discs. This is our second stop in the [music] Tour Down Under, which is entirely presented by MVP Discs. I'm your host Luke Humphries in the booth [music] with Mr. Perkins. The veteran of New Zealand, we call him the 2023 New Zealand national champion. You've been coming here for a while and [music] this place right here got to be one of your your favorites. I love it, Luke. I love when the locals come up to me and they're like, "Really? Four years in a row? Like, eventually you got to go somewhere else, right?" I am obsessed with this country. I think it's the next frontier for disc golf and I think that that is exactly why MVP believes in this tour so much because Henry Pearson and I pitched to him that we feel we can do the same thing in New Zealand that you see McResma did in Finland. Wow. And it's an amazing setting for it. >> It is. It is. There's not much different from the States in terms of feel. You get to speak English. You can spend, quote and quote, dollars, although they're a little bit different. There's not that much different. Well, they're like, for us it's amazing. Our our dollar goes almost twice as far, guys. So, we've been talking about all this cheap food. Might not be as cheap for the locals, but for us it it's great. Definitely feels like it. All right, back to the action. Big Jerm coming off back-to-back birdies. Started off as rough as we've ever seen Jerm start a tournament. Got a hole to dig himself out of.
