Welcome to the 2025 GoPro Mountain Games. My name is Gabe and you are watching Shotby-Shot coverage of the disc golf final brought to you by Disc Mania. To qualify for the finals, players had to meet a points threshold through participating in two qualifier events. First was a round of disc golf out here on the short course at Mallaloy Park where players received a certain number of points based on their scoring. The second day players parttook in a disc golf skills challenge. The first station being putting, second accuracy, third being a speed challenge, and then finally a distance competition. We had a lot of fun out here. These events were awesome. Shout out to everybody running them. And today we are actually covering the top four points leaders which is Luke Humphre, Alex Krauss, Nate Metsler, and Jacob Howell. We were super excited to be here at the GoPro Mountain Games, and I hope you guys enjoy watching. Getting straight into it, we've got hole one here. It is a hike up to hole one. Very downhill. 290 ft. The miss here is going to be leaving it a little bit right um of the basket because on the left side you've got a bunch of bushes right behind the basket that prevent you from having any kind of putt. First up, we got Luke here. He was the points leader after the two qualifying days. Throwing an approach disc. Yeah. and he is going to be on that left side behind those bushes. He's going to have a tough time finding a putt there. Next, we've got Alex Krauss putting one right up there next to the basket. Very well done, Nate Metsler, local crusher. And he is parked as well. Jacob Pal. Getting one up there as well. And we've got three parked. And we'll see if Luke can find a putt here. Yeah, he had to punch that one through through the bush. I mean, it's either that or throw an elevator putt, which is super touchy, but he makes makes good for the comebacker. Can't be losing too many strokes to these guys. And here we're going to have three birdies and a par it looks like. And just like that, we are off and running. Hole two, par three, 265 ft. This one's going to be uh just a soft putter...
