foreign welcome everyone and thank you for joining us for round two back nine of the 2023 crush on the Concho uh this is presented by Lone Star disc shout out also to the local Club low pot disc golf I'm Joe Freeman and I'm joined by my co-host today Casey white yep good day out on the middle Concho permanent course for the second round of the tournament here Joel you started the day with a little bit of a lead you're kind of hanging in there making a making a good push in the front nine and we got nine holes left to play and we're gonna see how it plays out yeah yeah I mean Emerson are kind of you know we're keeping Pace with each other uh he's got more birdies but he's also got one bogey I've been able to stay away from the bogey so far and Nico bouncing back from uh from a slow start in round one so good to see him kind of turning things around this is uh you know this is a this is a big deal for the local area this is the first year that this tournament has has been an a tier so it's been a beach here in the past a couple years and so congrats to the San Angelo area on on getting the bump up um yeah yeah absolutely the whole time pretty pretty simple hole here yep we got a 380 foot right hand backhand hyzer there is a little bit of worriness to go long but the green shapes up to be quite the catching Hill as I would say yeah Emerson's get got this one shaped up nicely one skip slower disc you're going with a Firebird here I believe yep yep just wide and high let the disc do its thing so yeah we saw Emerson try more of that straighter approach you're going for basically the all Air shot yeah just spiking it in there and yeah I was happy with that one of course they just cleaned this green up there used to be like a lot of cactus you know on the left um now there's a little more space to work with with Blake we haven't seen him throw many backhands but starting out this this back nine with a really nice backhand that one's...
