2023 Crush on the Concho | RD1 F9 | Locastro, Keith, Freeman, White
The 2023 Crush on the Concho features Joel Freeman and Casey White as they take on the front nine of the RD1 F9 course in Locastro, Texas. This disc golf event showcases a unique theme - "options" - where players must choose their poison from various shot options. The two friends are joined by fellow pro, Nico Le Castro, all of whom are testing out new Lone Star bags. The discussion centers around hole one, which offers both forehand and backhand options. Freeman shares his approach to this challenging hole, opting for a hyzer shot with an overstable Firebird. Meanwhile, White showcases his skills on the same hole, using a more predictable approach with a less-than-perfect result - literally! The conversation also touches on the typical challenges of disc golf in West Texas, including strong winds, and how players adapt to these conditions. As the front nine comes to a close, viewers can expect an insightful look at the strategies employed by these world-class players. With its unique theme and scenic West Texas setting, this event is a must-watch for disc golf enthusiasts.
