2022 LWS Open at Idlewild | RD2 F9 | Hansen,Pierce, Mandujano, Mertsch
The 2022 LWS Open at Idlewild presented by Dynamic Discs and Nadi is underway, and Madison Walker and Erica Stinchcomb are on hand to guide viewers through the action. The event has been plagued by poor weather conditions, with a torrential downpour drenching the course and making it challenging for competitors. Despite the treacherous conditions, Ella Hansen, Paige Pierce, Valerie Mandujano, and Kat Mertsch are demonstrating their skills and strategy on the notoriously tight and wooded Idlewild course. Walker and Stinchcomb discuss Ella's impressive performance so far, which has seen her shoot even par despite difficult conditions. They also examine the key challenges posed by holes like number one, where a strong headwind and treacherous terrain demand precision and control. Walker and Stinchcomb provide expert analysis of the competitors' techniques, including Pierce's trusty full flex shot into a headwind. With its unpredictable weather and demanding course layout, this event is shaping up to be an exciting test of skill and strategy for the talented group of female disc golfers.
Watch Hansen, Pierce, Mandujano, & Mertsch battle it out in Rd2 F9 of the 2022 LWS Open at Idlewild's legendary course.
