hello everyone and welcome to the exciting conclusion of the pdga champions cup presented by bushnell in association with the disc golf pro tour it is the first major of the year and we have quite a battle i'm erika stinchcomb and i'm madison walker we are your two hot geese hawk we're at the international disc golf center in appleing georgia we're watching paige pierce and kristen tatar battle it out for first right now kristen has a two-stroke advantage they started the day tied on the front nine uh and then also watching own scoggins and sarah hokum battle for third place um they are also tied so very exciting stuff happening the rest of the top 10 a little bit over par um it's tough to keep it under par out of jackson it is a beast of a course and there are some tight wooded fairways it's the final nine of the first major of the year get psyched hole 10 is 600 feet it's a par 4. you want to throw a gentle left to right finishing shot or straight will work as well but you want to land somewhere around these three trees in the middle or a little bit past left side is better in my opinion to open up your second shot there is a right gap that is the main fairway but a bunch of those little skinny gaps on the left side work as well a lot of people are going to be flexing something down to the green three is definitely on the table this one is a tough three even at only 600 feet what's wrong with the last six feet just ignored them twice on opting for the sidearm this is pulled a little bit it needs to oh wow that has to be so stable he was going right for that tree that's how every disc that comes out of her hand that's how i feel i'm like wow it's definitely turning oh no not turned over right that's her style just throwing those stable discs letting them do the work trusting them i thought that was going to hit that tree for sure though kristen has been filleting the shot and days prior she turns it over and keeps it a little too low here but it sneaks through yeah she might have some tricky...
