Join Kevin Jones and Luke Humphries at the 2021 Texas State Disc Golf Championship for a thrilling R1 round at the Dogwood course in Tyler, Texas. Sponsored by Latitude 64, this national tour event takes place on the Lindsay Park complex, featuring three challenging courses. The Dogwood course is notorious for its extreme difficulty, with tree-lined fairways and tricky shot selection required to navigate the sloping greens. Kevin Jones and Luke Humphries provide expert commentary as they walk through hole one, discussing the need for power and accuracy off the tee, where a hyzer shot of around 550 feet can pay dividends. The duo also explore the unique wind patterns in this Texas region, which affect gameplay on several holes. With its lush growth and large trees, the Dogwood course demands precision and strategy from players, making it a true test of skill for competitors like Maddio.
