welcome disc golf world my name is kevin jones and joining me is luke humphries we are bringing you guys your 2021 texas state disc golf championships provided by latitude 64. this is round one back nine coverage luke how you doing man man awesome we've got some of my favorite golfers on the planet including yourself calvin heinberg matarum and then miles seabourn texas legend now living in louisiana and we've got some hot rounds from jeremy coley and casey white right off the bat joel freeman worth mentioning a nine under right back from him james conrad garrett gerthy this thing is stacked man we've got a bunch of players playing great in this wooded golf that we have in tyler texas yeah here we go hole 10 very difficult hole par four i mean a perfect shot is gonna land out here right by the tree on your right there and then you're throwing down into this gap and the basket is up there on the right so i mean it plays nice you could have two big forehands get down there maybe a nice backhand and then another huge backhand down to this to this hole but it's hard to describe because it's so difficult and there's so many ways to play it it takes two full shots we've played some par fours already in this round that that take two layup shots these are full shots that are needed right here and matt that's a perfect position to be in look like he's playing a little bit uh back from that not as aggressive as some people will play calvin same route same idea from calvin the problem about this hole is if you get early left you're in for a long hole so these guys are not trying to mess with that at all they're playing on the right side of the fairway and now they have a clean second shot yeah it's it's not a look to get all the way down the fairway they still have to work to get their birdie and you're just gonna smack an x1 huh yeah i need to really hit it flat and i don't hit it flat enough and i'm going to be coming in a little early and hits the tree kicks off to the left side but not too bad yeah not the...
