hello disc golf world my name is kevin jones and you are joining me and lou humphries for your 2021 masters cup in santa cruz california this is a pdga national tour event sponsored by innova discs luke you ready to go dude nasty card for us today man super excited to see dustin keegan austin hannum james conrad and then james proctor again for the second day in a row but uh another variety of players that we have here austin hannah huge forehand and see a lot of shots like that out of him and then dustin keegan's just got a really clean game overall excited about watching that one kev for sure hole one is a par three at 345 feet this hole plays nearly 400 feet though it is so far up this hill it's important to make sure that you throw your disc high enough and hard enough and sometimes that's hard to do in the first hole of the round yeah the height being the key landing left of the basket's going to allow you to catch some roll if it's coming in hyzer you typically kind of roll towards the basket giving you an extra 20 30 feet not this far left though for most of the guys this is the hardest they've thrown all day just starting with a crush austin throws his forehand harder than he throws his back in not many players that are out here on tour can say that yeah he still has a really good back end yeah it for sure is he's just he's a college baseball player he's got a fantastic forehand yeah his forehand power is is nuts james conrad one of the best gap hitters in the world that's gonna come in handy out here at de la viega this is drifting a little far right you don't usually want to see that but it did have time to come back just enough once it starts drifting right it's just so far downhill there that it can come out of control sometimes proctor amazing heiser throw he got to watch him last round putt's been looking really good as well super clean stroke that's what you want to see usually right there that's what most players are kind of like looking to do that's right around circle's edge awkward footing but at least...
