hello everybody welcome to the back nine round one of portland open presented by dynamic discs i'm erica sinchome and i'm madison walker we're here at the glendavier golf course it's our first time here um beautiful property just rolling hills giant trees absolute pleasure to be here we have katrina allen julianna korver hayley king and erica sinchome on our feature card for round one we see katrina and juliana finding themselves under par katrina's looking real strong out here haley having a little bit of a struggle bus issue on hole six and seven which are the two hardest holes on the course our hot goose erika stinch comb maybe dealing with a little bit of nerves on her feature card presents but we have symbols that we can clean it up in the back nine that's true the back line is definitely harder um there are some birdies at the end this one's definitely gettable it's interesting you're going downhill you're trying to throw basically to the top of the hill uh and then it's kind of a left to right moving shot in this beautiful little grove of trees um it's weird because you're throwing like right at like the tree canopy i guess you know what i mean like you can only see the tops of the trees this hill is so steep so you have to throw down on your second shot um it feels kind of interesting there is an out of bounds line on the right hand side but it is not that cart path that we can see that is safe katrina going to shoot the hill and carry over crest it just a little bit and she'll have a downhill look at the basket if you don't quite crest that hill like katrina did on the drive it makes it really tough on your second shot because you can't see anything like erica said you can only see the canopy of trees that are above the basket so it makes that sec placing that second shot really hard especially because it is a distance drive for a lot of the fpo shots it was a great drive from juliana it was her turn and hopefully she'll be able to see as much as she can from there haley i'm sure trying to cross the hill here she does yeah doesn't...
