hello everyone and welcome to the 2021 mid america open presented by discraft i'm rebecca cox joined here with missy gannon and we're here with gk pro to show you the third and final round of the fpo division front nine here we have ellen wood boom in the lead with one over missy and heather are tied at two over and vanessa van dyken is just behind them by one stroke at three over yeah we're in for a battle this round perfect conditions a little windy but nice and warm uh this course is gonna look beautiful today here we have our first hole 280 feet par-3 pretty straightforward the basket is to the left of the t-pad a little bit so um the shot that you're going to see a lot on this hole is a backhand hyzer there is a lefty route but i haven't seen really anyone take that route before from florida ellen would boom up first she's going with a sidewinder you can see she's lining up that sort of turnover forehand shot let's see if she can get enough angle on this to have it glide to the left it's a little high but it's turning yeah she might just kept that a little higher than she wanted to didn't get the full flip that she really wanted i'm going with my 2020 tour series again an undertaker trying to play that sort of straight hyzer shot with a little bit of a slower disc nice nice yeah just a little short i'll be just outside the circle but i i kind of prefer those uphill putts it's heather the lefty young gun on the tour man that thing's flippy yeah f5 um definitely looking for that drift to the left but just a little bit too much cut rolls out a little bit she'll have to pitch up from there likely and i really like the straighter approach here yeah vanessa's throwing an avenger ss she just a little long she said she does throw a slightly more stable one so did good that downhill drift and they're just lighting up doesn't have a look at it really oh wendy yeah ellen was definitely eyeing this one up for a while but she kind of had a headwind right in her face and you could see she just sort of decided...
