hello everyone and welcome to the 2021 mid america open presented by discraft i'm rebecca cox here with missy gannon and we're here with gk pro to bring you the final nine holes of the third and final round here uh we had ellen with boom in the lead by a stroke starting the round but here we are with heather young carting that birdie on a whole nine to put her in the lead by just a stroke um and everyone's kind of falling closely behind so yeah the back nine definitely gets um a bit harder less birdie opportunities um it's more about just you know maintaining getting your pars and you know maybe a birdie will come along but just try to minimize the bogeys yeah stay clean hole 10 is a par 3 310 feet there is this wide obi creek just about 100 or so feet short of the basket and the line does kind of go from left to right so we are all trying to make it over that creek and hopefully have an open look at the basket a little bit early heiser but i mean she kicked right out into the circle so yeah she said she's been having trouble with that one tree just before the creek so she was just happy to get past it be on the green oh hi but she's up there but she's just in some junk right now vanessa going with that nuke again uh yeah it almost got cleaned through but luckily it did stop short of the ob so okay she is safe and on the basket side i'm going with that same purple z thrasher trying to get that nice turn all the way there yeah i was stoked nice even just having an open look at this basket is great yeah that was some awkward footing but she made it work oh what line is ellen going for here anything well she found one never mind she's through nova so right oh i knew i had a chance and with with heather inside the circle you know you can never ever count her out a little bit longer of a cleanup putt than i want but luckily came away with my par yeah so heather will be picking up another stroke on the card here you gotta go birdie birdie...
