hello everyone and welcome to round three of the 2021 ledge stone open presented by discraft discs i'm madison walker and i'm erica stinchcomb we're two hotkeys uh we are doing our third round out at sunset hills back-to-back rounds out here on this golf course we are very happy to see paige pierce missy gannon sarah hokam and again maria oliva on the lead card watching them shred some wide open disc golf holes with lots of birdie opportunities before we are forced to go finish up at northwoods black on sunday yeah missy joining uh the three other ladies from yesterday on the lead card she had a hot round besides paige yesterday the second hottest round at six down paige with a scorching seven down has a huge lead seven strokes uh going into today there's a ton of birdies out here for every single person in the field we're gonna see some crushers we're going to see some sidearms the conditions are a little friendlier today as well a little hotter but we start out on this par for with a little bit less wind than we did the day before the out of bounds is in the woods all the way down the left hand side the second shot can be blind usually is if you're playing safe on the drive there's water out of bounds past the basket and it is a steeply sloping green paige with a zeus here we saw her yesterday get way up there able to look at the pin which is really great if you throw too far to the right which is easy to do as you're trying to avoid the left side ob like this uh it becomes a blind shot and it's really easy to misjudge the distance especially because you're scared of skipping long into the water but she's still way up there but it'll be a little tougher than we saw yesterday i threw a shot today that really hugged the sidewalk it was a little bit more aggressive and i was and it was a crush and i still was surprised to not be able to see the basket so i think even if you do take that risk the reward may not necessarily be worth it it does make the shot a little shorter but i think missy's doing the ideal shot...
