hey everybody and welcome to the first round of the green mountain championships we're finally in vermont this is presented by upper park disc golf my name is madison walker and i'm erica stinchkum we're two hotkeys hunk we will be playing our first round at fox run meadows it is the more open of the two courses on the property thanks to upper park again and descriptive golf yeah we're having a quick turnaround from mvp only two and a half days to practice on the feature card here today we have sarah hokam katrina allen missy gannon and christine jennings yeah it is a quick turnaround it was about a four and a half or five hour drive and then practicing two courses it rained all day one of the days so everyone's feeling a little fresh everyone's probably didn't see the course as much as they want but we've been here before we know what's going on see what happens jumping into hole one it's a par four 550 feet you're teeing off across this kind of ob section here and then ob lines it left and right and wraps all the way around the basket this is a theme we're going to see all day with these white stakes and painted lines out of bounds um this is a really great property because it has this open course and the wooded course which is super tight and they're like 200 feet apart it's unbelievable from caldwell idaho sarah holcomb this is a pretty awesome starting hole it's got a really pretty t-pad with a little boardwalk that goes over the out-of-bounds uh forehand and backhand are both lined up just fine off this t-pad major issues here would be turning it over left into the out-of-bounds or throwing it a little bit too deep and finding ob bar sarah just chops off 265. minnesota katrina allen that's jeff spring there the director of the pro tour he told me he was practicing his announcing you got to do the first name slow and then the last name fast so that's what he's doing which i love it yeah he's also throwing his name in the tournament director hat this week so he is tour directing and tournament directing at the same time amazing katrina with an h1v2 304 feet and in a pretty good spot yeah...
