welcome back everyone to the discraft great lakes open part of the disc golf pro tour i'm sarah hook i'm here with juliana korver we're here at toboggan on the back nine of the first round the second feature card here we have cat three under for this card and everyone else tied one under seeing a lot of birdies and unfortunately a fair number of bogey strokes as well scores are pretty tight on the full leader board paige and kristen out in front cat in the mix in third juliana tiger and cali behind her and then a few other players at -1 here we have hole 10 this is 428 feet par 3. it is 57 feet of elevation gain clearly the first goal is to keep it in the fairway but distance is also key on this hole as the basket is guarded fairly well and restricted which restricts the approach the landing zone slopes to the right and so approach shots need to stay very straight or they will also fall off to the right cat going x3 oh wow she's already almost in circle too that's going to make that hole pretty easy for cat i think yeah if you can get past that first tree it really opens up haley with a zeus also making this hole look easy it is not easy to get what those two drives are yeah and if you don't throw quite that far like myself and vanessa vanessa with a hades it brings that tree both of those trees into play and there's nothing easy about that approach not at all it's got a low clearance and you're throwing it uphill so it's a small window i'm throwing a trace and actually trying to get farther right and even i'd be okay shorter than that just to open up this lane oh that looks good and that's a crave vanessa also with the sidearm going buzz doesn't quite get the turn on it that she needed to get under that branch did she just go through the branches i think she did how fun little smile from haley yeah they make that look easy that's i haven't seen anybody that far up on the on this drive before that's a great position vanessa having to pitch up for her bogey excellent approach shot pretty easy three there...
