welcome everyone to the des moines challenge we are here with the disc golf pro tour elite series at pickard park beautiful rolling hills out in indianola iowa just south of des moines i'm sarah hokam here with five-time world champion juliana korver today we have paige pierce kristen tatar missy gannon and jessica wiese this is going to be our final round even though it is the second round due to weather delays this weekend paige kristen and missy are knotted up in the lead at -3 and jessica wheeze is just three back at even here we have hole one this is a 705 foot par four the hole is surrounded by ob on all sides but it is a generously wide fairway distance is important off the tee to give you a shot at a par or i'm sorry at a birdie on this hole um the second shot needs to turn the corner just a little bit so that you can see around this bushy tree on the right that hides the basket from view the green is slightly angled it slopes up to the back and towards the right here page up first with a zeus around the outside it seems to be the preferred fat path throwing something overstable around the outside making sure that it comes back to the middle kristen up next lining up her ride one of her specialties those big hyzers it's important to make sure that you get a hyzer angle on this shot because of the angle the slope of the fairway it can pull your disc down to the right into the op if you throw something flat missy following suit going zeus nice grouping they have going there just going with the strike oh that one got away from her a little bit lost a lot of distance on that shot she'll be trying to save a bogey at this point yeah it's important for her where she's standing to make sure she pulls it out to the left because that ob will definitely come into play for her otherwise missy there with tom on the bag always a great supporter and a great dog walker for their two dogs missy doesn't like it but it is going to be inbounds just not as far up the fairway as she would like kristen going with a...
