2021 Delaware Disc Golf Challenge | RD1 F9 | Hammes, Marwede, Newsom, O'Reilly
The 2021 Delaware Disc Golf Challenge is underway at the Newark Delaware course, featuring an exciting lineup of young players. Hosts Luke Humphries and Connor O'Reilly break down the card, highlighting the proficiency of forehand and backhand techniques among the competitors. The course proves to be challenging, with rollers and rough terrain that require precise shots, particularly when navigating through rocks - a "rough sandpaper" that can chew up discs. Adam Hannice from Wisconsin is discussed as a strong contender, currently fourth in the NT standings. Andrew Marwede from Michigan leans heavily on his forehand skills, which served him well during college basketball. The event marks the first time the course has featured an ovale-style approach, adding another layer of complexity to the already tight layout.
