welcome disc golf world my name is luke humphries and you guys are watching the 2021 clash at the canyons presented by discmania we are in illinois and this is the eighth rated course in the nation one of the locals to this course is joining me today in the commentator booth gavin rathbun how we doing today man i'm doing great super excited to be in the booth for the first time and doing it with you of course yeah man we got a great card today philo yourself dan schlitter he's a local big dude great player and then defending champion ezra aderhold he shot some fire rounds out here last year didn't he completely lit up the course his step pug was on fire so what are we looking at for a whole one gav so initially you want to make it through this gap preferably with something overstable because you want to bend to the left and try to stay out of that water that's ob on the right side yeah it's a pretty narrow landing zone that you're looking at you'll have a putter approach if you do it correctly one of the trickiest holes on the track for sure definitely is man one of the coolest things about your community here is how much you guys get involved and just show up and support man it's so cool to see you guys are you're lucky honestly i don't see it anywhere else that i travel to the community in joliet lockport oswego where i started is just insane this looks good yeah it looked like a draco out of philo that's getting oh really good role is it i think yeah yeah that's an amazing role okay yeah it's finished on the path dude listen to that roar man how awesome was that love it dude i haven't felt energy like this all season long you looking good feeling loose was there some pressure with all those fans here today oh man it was definitely jittery was that md5 md5 is that where you were aiming just a little off to the right there guessing so just yeah a bit right a little uh jittery to start having to felt pressure on my first tee all year i don't think not even at the world championships it's been talked about before it's definitely harder...
