hello and welcome to the 2020 mid america final round coverage this is zacharias johnson joined by my boy kevin jones how's it going zach feeling good today nice we have a great card for you guys today 2020 mid-america open in columbia missouri nicola castro kevin jones adam hammas and paul yulobari is going to be on our card today so we had an interesting situation happen with some inclement weather um originally they had trimmed the round to 14 holes and then ultimately it got cut back down to nine holes because of a storm rolling in right so there will be no back nine coverage for you guys today the front nine is it and it is technically gonna be your final nine yes so these guys are gonna be hashing it out yeah we have a really good battle actually for second place right now um i've got a hefty lead but really important to get at least pars out here the the course has tons of teeth and there's plenty of opportunities for huge swings so you can't just get lazy you know all right check in on the leaderboard as you can see the tight race per second tight race for fifth and also right there everybody else at five and four down so kevin kind of running away with it playing really clean all weekend but with the shorter round that's a little helpful as well i can't lie and starting on hole one it's gonna be the easiest hole on the entire course a straight up hill par three 216 feet maybe plays 250. very iconic hole here beautiful yep and you're gonna see most people throw a backhand putter or some kind of overstable sidearm flex to match the grain of the hill that we're landing on kevin throwing a buttery turnover right up the gut perfect how far do you think that is about 10 10 foot yes yes that's a hundred percenter without a doubt nice you really opted for the sidearm i believe he was throwing mantis all weekend on these sidearms really yeah it surprised me but he has really good angle and touch you know sure does yeah that's it definitely appears to be a mantis that's a great shot from julie nico busting out the red white and blue for this one yeah these tea...
