hello everyone and welcome to the 2020 ida wild open presented by dynamic discs and the natty i'm rebecca cox joined here with kona panus hey everyone and we're going to be bringing you the commentary for the first round this course is one of the most difficult courses we play on tour yeah we're definitely going to see a lot of these women throw some tight lines hit some great gaps and hopefully make some big putts yep it's all about staying clean on this course yeah it's definitely staying in the fairway making your gaps and definitely not going out of bounds all right so for our feature card we have paige pierce valerie manojano and heather young and rebecca cox yeah we have a couple young guns on the card i know i liked seeing this feature card i as soon as i saw dgpt posted i'm like all right we got some young guns i'm excited to watch them throw some lines all right i guess up till this point we got elaine king and lisa everybody in first a lot of ties for first right now it's pretty sweet yeah everyone's starting off the round pretty pretty easy all right so hole 1 638 feet we have this whole left side out of bounds so if anything your miss is going to be on that right side hopefully you're not down there by that those trees you're really just trying to get to the fairway kind of right where this drone is is where a lot of the women will be throwing and then you want to do a simple up shot you're going to see some mids or maybe some fairways up to the green the green actually slopes down so you don't want to go too long because you're going to have an uphill putt back up but uh elevated basket to start it's definitely a little nerve-wracking yeah but this is one of the holes i feel like people really want to birdie right off the bat it's wide open almost and it's just one of the few holes that you can really truly be aggressive on before you get into the woods yeah i think a lot of women are hoping for that three to start off for that confidence boost so we got paige here it looks like she's throwing...
