hello everyone welcome to the discraft great lakes open this is the fifth disc golf pro tour of 2020 and i'm excited to get out here on the toboggan course my name is paige pierce and i'm missy gannon thank you so much to discraft for not only sponsoring this event but also for sponsoring this coverage and huge shout out to gk pro who is out here filming the women's division the entire the entire 2020 season so we got myself missy gannon hayley king and lisa ficus who's coming off a big win at the silver cup on this feature card today yeah this property is so pretty it's just like sprawling and fairways go up and down and uh well look at that we think this might be a weasel but anybody who actually knows let us know so hole 1 is a 477 foot par 3 to start us off there is ob all along the left side and you really have to commit to something turned over on a backhand or a big forehand just to get yourself in position to at least maybe have a have a putt at the basket or just a really wide open approach page here so i'm grabbing my soul here this one if there's any wind i'm not going to be throwing it but it's really glidy and flippy so i'm putting it out over the ob and just looking for that late turn a little bit too inside so i'm going to find the right side of the fairway uh there are branches to contend with over there so even if you get close it's hard to hit those putts on the right side elise is lining up beforehand here looks like with her glow shrike um so she's just trying to you know completely avoid that ob on the left and hopefully find herself in a good position like it came out a little bit early she's gonna make it around the corner but quite a bit short of circle two haley king haley king now i'm gonna guess she's gonna throw a sidearm as well she's a very dominant sidearm power thrower yeah it looks like a zeus in her hand she just gets it out with so much speed riding the ob line and a nice hyzer finish she's almost a circle too that's...
