2020 DISCRAFT GREAT LAKES OPEN | FINALB9 | Pierce, Allen, Widboom, Young | GKPRO Disc Golf DGLO
The 2020 DISCRAFT GREAT LAKES OPEN is a thrilling episode of the fifth Disc Golf Pro Tour event of the year. Paige Pierce and Missy Gannon bring back Round Three: Back Nine coverage, providing an in-depth look at the final stages of this prestigious tournament. The leaderboard features tight scores from talented players like Ellen Woodbloom, who made a charge on the front nine and is now in contention for victory. The group discusses Hole 10, a challenging 370-foot par three with a steeply graded green. They debate strategies for navigating this difficult hole, including playing it safe with a layup or taking a risk with an upshot shot. The discussion also touches on forehand shots around the corner and playing big to avoid obstacles like the first guardian bushes. Paige Pierce showcases her skills, attempting a big sky anhyzer and providing commentary on Ellen's strike, which results in a well-placed layup to the mouth of the hole. With birdies possible but not guaranteed, this section offers a gripping look at the back nine action of the Great Lakes Open.
