welcome everyone to the disc golf pro tour tour championship presented by grip six belts we are in charlotte north carolina at hornet's nest dgc and i am joined on the mic tonight by five-time world champ paige pierce what up paige nothing it's this is a crazy format that we're getting out absolutely into here at hornet's nest and we got four really good players myself hayley king katrina allen and sarah hokum so it's gonna be exciting day out here in the woods yeah absolute killers on the card today these are women that either got the buy or played well yesterday mentioned the format this is cut throat here only four of these eight women moving on to the finals tomorrow yep so this card is all four of us got the buy into the semifinals based on our standings throughout the whole pro tour series and then you can see the second card right here lisa ficus missy gannon holly finley yeah and jessica whis who got in from yesterday's quarter-final round right all those women playing well enough to get into these semi-finals here hole 1 288 feet players are immediately asked to throw one down the pipe the tree kicks we'll mention multiple times are usually not good out here leaving players with tricky up and downs what are you doing on this first hole page yeah this one i was kind of in between a fierce and a soul i like going as slow as possible in these tight woods that way if you hit a tree you don't get as big of a kick uh but it was pretty chilly this morning it was like 48 degrees when we teed off so i clubbed up to a sole and there you can see just a little bit of an early release the disc just kind of slid out of my cold grip our second competitor on our 10 am tea time from minnesota representing prodigy please put your hands together for miss katrina allen yeah especially this early in the morning i mean what time is it we teed off at 10 o'clock the chase card teed off at 9 20 and we teed off at 10. sunlight not having a chance to penetrate these dark woods yet katrina with her m2 pulls it a little bit 10 a.m from idaho representing...
