all right welcome back to the disc golf pro tour tour championship here in charlotte north carolina we are at hornet's nest disc golf course and i am with heather young heather young you are on this card and you are playing well how are you feeling i'm feeling good at this point first round to qualify for the semi-finals of the tour championships there's a lot of money on the line at this event yeah pro tour sponsors really have made this a huge finishing event yeah speaking of the sponsors big shout out to grip six our our sponsor for the tournament and house also our sponsor for this coverage couldn't do it without him go check out grip six belts online great stuff cool shot of the hornet's nest gate that you walk through on the way to the first tee just something special here charlotte takes care of their courses so well it's a pleasure coming here every time this place kills it the passion for disc golf is amazing here quick look at the leaderboard you're seeing there heather and kona on the card just outside the cut line at this point but fighting hard you guys have nine holes to make it happen for sure and the back nine of this course probably gives even more scoring separation with lots of tight lines that's exactly right well said the scoring separation um is all the way there starting on hole 10 474 it's not the distance that's the issue here it's the trees and the uphill the elevation really comes into play on this hole the camera definitely doesn't show how uphill it feels like you have to throw it's just subtle the entire way and also on the landing zone kind of at the corner there's a lot of roots on the ground that you can't see with the leaves that make any kind of skip really unlikely so it's tough to get far around the corner yeah great insight from heather got kona looks like flicking a mid-range this was really close just a little bit short or a little bit inside yeah she was looking for 30 more feet to be in the ideal spot i think this is a paige pier soul from missy a little inside too tight but yeah you can see that wind gusting right now you...
