hey folks welcome to the back nine at texas state championship practice round my name is nick hanson alongside me i have aaron gossage and we're we got a tight battle here we're both at 2-0 we're going to the back nine so we're really having ups and downs on the course i got quite a few bogeys but here at the end i've started to get some birdies going so i'm gonna hopefully continue that going into the back nine here uh erin what are you trying to do on the back nine so the back nine um i am trying to score um but then again it's it's really long so on the back nine here i don't think i'm throwing a single like fan grip shot the rest around i'm throwing all just like max distance as hard as i can fairway drivers to drivers okay so that's great information to know i would say so definitely want to get maybe a little more loosened up after that front nine but i'm excited for a back nine here we've got a hot battle like i said and how we doing keep moving we're here at hole 10 par 3 426 feet it's going to look like a natural right hand backhand hyzer but we do have those kind of four pines that are going to you know clog up the gap i would say um are you just throwing a backhand hyzer yeah i'm trying to throw something that pushes really straight and then just kind of stalls at the ends the basket's kind of right uh in line with maybe the leftmost pine tree there so it's not super far left um but there is a road behind it so it's a lot about distance control and uh yeah keeping your disc from getting a big skip off to the left and it looks like there is a road behind there is that what you were saying yeah so yeah you're gonna have a death putt if you leave it short and if you push your drive too long you could find the out of bounds how far is it if you were to say go out of bounds and have a three pod back would you say inside the circle or oh yeah it's it's about 20 feet behind okay so it's it's tight yep...
