and we are back with paige pierce paige got a couple questions for you first and foremost you went to bondaroo for the first time recently talk to me about that experience and who did you like seeing uh music festivals are like an overwhelming abundance of love and like community it feels like a disc golf tournament honestly but um everybody is there to be there they're not looking for the next thing like what's coming up next oh it's like you are in that present moment and everybody's just so grateful and honored to be there and so i think that's overall my favorite part like yes i saw a lot of incredible performances and lots of raw emotion from artists but i think my favorite part is just how connected you feel to each other like you see someone uh overheating someone's gonna be the first person to hand you a bag of ice or whatever you need so it's just that loving feeling that exchange of like i help you you help me and you totally get that in disc golf so maybe that's why i love both of them so much but um yeah now i heard that at bonnaroo you actually got noticed quite a few times by fellow disc golfers and you talked about how interesting of an experience that is can you talk a little bit more about that you've been playing the game since you were a kid and here you are outside of the disc golf world getting recognized is that an interesting thing do you enjoy it yeah you know it's funny because i'm a human just as everyone that's watching this is right but people uh it's it's a weird position to be in as like a famous athlete because i'm like now not a person i'm like this like icon or this this figure that they watch and so certain times it hits me and i'm like ugh get away from me like please don't call me paige pierce like i will hug you i'll probably give you a kiss on the cheek and we can share ice cream sandwich but don't call me paige pierce you know like i'm paige and if you say my name page hi page with a smile i'm gonna give you a hug but so and i actually had this breakthrough...
