we are back joined with natalie ryan welcome to portland natalie it's great to be here have you had a chance to play both blue lake and glendavier courses yes i played both of them twice so far um glendavier's better just jumping right in right now well before we actually talk about this weekend i would like to go back and revisit the incredible performance that you had at the otb open putting yourself in contention for the big w placing second what was your top learn top one or two highlights in the learning experience of that the biggest takeaway from that is my mental game finally clicked into place for the first time in probably this year um i finally have like a thing i can focus on to keep myself centered and keep myself focused on each shot as they come up um and then i guess the next one is my practice is finally paying off uh over in the off season this year i was i had to build my van so i didn't really get a chance to kind of do upkeep on my form and all that and i lost a couple of things and finally got him back last week mark two weeks ago so feeling sharper feeling more confident learning a lot about the mental game how does that translate into the way you prepared for this event um i didn't really change much about how i prepared for this event i my my main goal when i'm warming up or when i'm practicing is step up to the tee and throw the best shot that i can throw it doesn't matter what the gap looks like it doesn't matter elevation any of that so i just try to carry forward that that sort of mentality throughout every practice round i play and um a second ago you mentioned that you have something to hold on to would you care to share with us and you can keep it for natalie as well but care to share with us what that thought might be um it's actually just like a little mental image of me playing with my friends back when i was starting to play in the starting to learn how to play the game at my home course do you picture yourself putting or driving or driving off...
